At last, we have some observations to make. Up to now we had no visible mould growth but the germs have been busy proliferating over the weekend- much to the children's delight and excitement. The adults are not quite so impressed.
The children were surprised by some of the results as the water only treatment appears to be preforming better than the hand gel treatment. We will leave the experiment to run a little longer and make observations again in a few days time.
