This week we explored human faces, being inspired by a sculpture from Damien Hirst called 'The Hours Spin Skull'. The children drew their own skulls into their scetchbooks and decorated them. For inspiration we looked at decorations and face paintings for the celebration of the 'Day of the Dead' in Mexico. Here are a few examples, aren't they great?
