In English writing we have read a story about a big bad pig (not three little pigs) who knocks down the houses of the three little wolves. An interesting take on a traditional story where the four characters all become friends at the end of the book. As part of our learning process it is important for the children to immerse themselves in the story and we use drama to help us to learn using actions and speech. Then, when children come to do their writing, it is much easier because they have learnt the story and enjoyed the process.
