Instrumental Performance Day at Harvey Grammar School

The children from Years 4 and 5 took part in the morning session of an Instrumental Performance Day at Harvey Grammar School alongside children from other local schools. They had the opportunity to play their instruments with the other children and to the other children. A total of about 350 children joined to play pieces such as Mamma Mia.

Our children played recorders, ukuleles, djembe drums, hand bells and a mixture of brass instruments. They were also able to hear violins being played and enjoyed listening to the Harvey Grammar School orchestra playing.

A small group of year 6 girls attended in the afternoon session and played hand bells to and with about 300 other children.
