Books are an important part of the day. Children are encouraged to read at every opportunity. We have a well stocked book corner and school library.
We are currently reading 'George Speaks' by Dick King-Smith. This hilarious book is about the antics of a precocious baby. Watch out for the twist at the end!
In Literacy lessons we are reading 'The Adventures of Odysseus' by Hugh Lupton which is a fascinating book about life in Ancient Greek times where we encounter many mythical creatures.
Please try to share your son/daughter's reading book with them as often as possible and it is helpful to write a comment in their record book.This book can also be used to write any messages or questions that you might have for me. |
