This term we will be exploring our topic 'The Big Freeze'. We will be covering our topic in the following areas of the curriculum.
English-Enjoying the book 'The Ice Palace' by Robert Swindells and creating wonderful pieces of writing as a result.
Science-Looking at solids, liquids and gasses and how changes in state can occur when the temperature changes.
Geography-Looking at the Charity Water Aid and the outstanding work they do across the globe to ensue that people have clean water. We will also be looking at the journey a river takes and how water can sustainably power our planet.
Design and Technology-Creating our own dams to change water flow.
