Christ Church Primary is a two form entry Church of England voluntary controlled primary school near the centre of the town of Folkestone. There are approximately 420 children on roll. Please note the following key dates and events for term 5 as outlined below: Week beginning 23rd April the Olympic torch is received from St Peter’s and in turn will be passed to Sandgate Primary Friday 4th May - Rainbow Tag Day (please see newsletter for info or classteacher) Monday 7th May is a bank holiday (the school will be closed) Week beginning 8th May is Book Week Friday 11th May - Book Week Dressing Up Day - pupils are asked to come to school on this day dressed as their favourite book character Week beginning 14th May, Year 6 SATs take place Tuesday 15th May - Yr 1 Trip - £12 Wednesday 23rd May - Yr R Trip - £12 Friday 1st June Jubilee Breakfast - join us for a full english breakfast! 8.00 - 8.30 a.m. Friday 1st June - Big Tea Party for Year R and 6 Grandparents and invited visitors 2.00 - 3.00 p.m. Invitations will be coming home shortly Friday 1st June is the last day of term 5
