We worked liked scientists sorting strange and mysterious leaves by different criteria. We were told that botanists and explorers compare newly discovered tree leaves with features of known leaf species so a scientific name can be given to a newly discovered plant.
We used some new vocabulary today too such as; palmate, jagged, lobbed....
