Brilliant 1A have been working hard to understand the symbols and vocabulary for greater than, less than and equal to. We worked outside with sticks and objects, moved onto sticks and numbers and then inside using other manipulatives. The children had not seen this symbol before but they've worked really hard to understand it and have done really well.
