A little late in the season but we finally go around to planting some bulbs in our Year 2 garden. The children planted a range of bulbs (alliums, crocus, scillia, tullips, hyacinths and daffodils) so they will get to see them bloom throughout the season. It is hoped that this will support their learning in science to observe changes over time in readiness for their Term 4 Science topic "Plants". The children have also potted up some bulbs to nurture in the classroom so they can compare the conditions and await the results.
