Year 4 have been working on their Big Freeze Topic this term, which has focused on water with Water Aid as an aspect within that. Water Aid's mission is to 'transform the lives of the poorest and most marginalised people by improving access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. To help support this cause Year 4 pupils held a fundraising day at Christ Church Academy. This involved a TAG day and events on at lunch time such as pin the water drop on the tap, a penalty shoot out, face painting, cake sales, t-shirt sales and book sales. The children organised and led the activities and held a very successful day.
