Our Aims
To ensure all children have the opportunity to experience and engage with a variety of poets and poems. To be able to listen to, perform, write and discuss a range of poems, in a range of circumstances. Exposing children to poetry regularly in formal and informal ways to encourage them to develop an appreciation of many kinds of writers and forms.
