Being at home gives us lots of opportunities to learn about so many things. Kahlo, in Stingrays, is learning how to make butter from milk. This activity can incorporate so many different areas of learning: history; how butter used to be made: geography; how butter is made and used in different countries: science; what happens when the milk is churned: English; instructions on how to make butter from milk: maths; measuring and weighing. It is easy to see how incredibly valuable these opportunities are and how we can really make the most of using them to help our children learn. Well done and thank you to all the parents who are doing such a fantastic job with the home schooling - we think you're amazing!!!
