For our first habitat lesson children learnt about the 7 processes all living things carry out in order to survive. Then they searched a local habitat (Infant Playground) to find things that are living, dead or never lived.
This week the children visited another local habitat to identify which tree species lived there. We did this by taking leaf rubbings and using a Tree Identification Chart.
